Frequently asked questions

What is a certificate of free sale?

It is a statement from the health authority of the country of origin confirming that the product can be freely sold on that market. Many non-EU countries require it to register the product or approve the importer.

Italian or Spanish certificate: which is better?

It depends on where the product is made or placed on the market and on who is responsible for it. Working with both systems, we choose the right route without forcing it.

Apostille or consular legalisation?

An apostille is valid in countries party to the Hague Convention; elsewhere legalisation at the consulate is required. Some countries also ask for sworn translations: we give you the exact sequence.

How long does it take?

It depends on the authority, the number of products and the legalisation chain. The initial checklist gives realistic timings for each step, so you can plan shipments and launches.

My goods are held at customs: what should I do?

Write to us with the shipping documents: we check what is missing and handle the health clearance procedure, in Italy or Spain.

Do you also work with non-EU brands?

Yes. For brands entering Europe we handle the Responsible Person, notifications and import documents; for those exporting from Europe, the reverse route.

Who signs the documents?

Every document analysis is carried out and signed by a sector expert with proven experience, named in the file.

Who is responsible for the analysis?

Technical responsibility for the document analysis lies with the expert who signs it. Manufacturer declarations and commercial decisions remain with the company.
